Monitor mounts on plastic table? [EXPAND]

Looking for the best way to reinforce a plastic folding table that has served me well over the years. It is the perfect length, width and height for me but I've been looking to move from a monitor stand back to a monitor mount. I tried a monitor mount before but it would always be at an off angle.
